Search Digital Bristol

This search engine is the most versatile way to find a website and its description. If you know the site's name (if a business, this is usually the same as the company name), simply type it (or just part of it) here and click on "Find it!".

This search engine also automatically searches the website's description, so you can type a key word instead of a name. If, for example, you are searching for a list of plumbers, type plumb and click on "Find it!" Tip: if you were to type "plumber" then you would risk missing any entries which used the word "plumbing" instead.

Options

Our homepage offers a wide variety of features designed to appeal to a wide range of people but, of course, not everyone will be interested in every feature.

We have provided an "Options" menu which allows you to control these features - all at the click of a mouse.

For this to work properly, Digital Bristol needs to set cookies (see Jargon Buster for information on what cookies are). So, if you are not using cookies you will not be able to access our full range of features (in fact, even the Options menu will simply not be visible). Tip: Public Access Points all operate without cookies and, therefore, no Options are accessible.

Once you have familiarised yourself with the features we offer, choose which you want to ignore, and simply click on its ticked box. This will toggle it off; clicking again will reset the tick and bring back the feature.

When you are left with ticks against only those features you wish to enjoy, click on the "Change options" button to update your settings.

You can further reduce on-screen clutter by minimising the Options menu itself; simply click in the small white box next to its name. Clicking this box again will bring back the full menu, so you can change your selection of features at any time.
