The Basement Studio Youth Project

Partnerships and collaborative methods of working are becoming recognised and endorsed as a positive approach for small and large organisations to meet their objectives. The partnership the Basement has with the Youth Service was and still is an innovative approach.

In recogniton of the partnership it has with Bristol City Youth Service, the project is housed within Sefton park Youth project, Ashley Down Road a statutory youth project in Ashley ward. It has a Youth Development Worker who is employed by Bristol Youth Service. This post is line managed by the Senior Youth Worker who has a role supporting developments of the Basement Studio along with other city wide music and radio developments (ie Millenium Radio project)
