The Artists

Conor Wilson Ceramicist and sculptor (BA, MA) and founding member of "Ceramics in Space" Having attended BA (1st Class) and MA Ceramics degrees, he designed and built a studio for the production of large scale sculptural ceramics. Conor has since been awarded many public and private comminsions and is currently making work for a ceramics exhibition to be held in Holland and Germany (summer 2000). He also works as a visiting lecturer in ceramics (UWE) and is a founding member of the research group, "Ceramicsin Space." |

Jeremy Routledge Jeremy is coordinator of the website. He is a filmmaker and partner in "Calling the Shots", an organisation specialising in the production of professional film, TV and digital media. The company collaborated in 1999 with the "Bread Youth Project" on the short film "Stray" for the Brief Encounters festival. Jeremy has also collaborated with sculptor Tim Knowles on the HTV documentry "The Ice Cream Man."

Justin Marshall Justin is an artist and researcher. During his PhD, Justin has investigated the use of computer technologies in aiding the production of 3-D art and craft works (especially architectural ceramics.) His recent research has involved collaborating with industries in the production of architectural ceramics. Within his personal practice the functional use of light and shadow has been a continuing inspiration.
