| Saturday 1st December | Mike's ride to Castle Combe with a morning stop at Marshfield. About 40 miles leaving at 9.30. |
| Sunday 16th December | The annual Mince Pie ride hosted by Russ and Angela. Food and merriment will be provided but please bring a bottle. A pub visit during a short ride leaving at 10.00 for a weather permitting 20 mile ride. Decorative bikes are the order of the day! (members only) |
| Tuesday 1st January 2002 | Linda's hot toddy/ mulled wine ride. Starting in a straight line at 11.00 to somewhere not very far away. |
| Sunday 13th January | Susan will be taking us up the Vale of Berkeley. 40 ish miles starting at 9.30. |
| Friday 18th January | Late Christmas Dinner on Friday 18th January (Evening). Organised by Mary in the same restaurant as last year - Sergio's at the bottom of Park Street. ( Bring your own bottle ) Meeting at 7.30. Please reserve your place with a £5.00 deposit as soon as possible and certainly before 21st December. |
| Sunday 27th January | Across the bridge to a good pub at Shirenewton. Ride of 45 miles lead by Dawn starting at 9.30 with a pick up at Rexam at 10.00. |
| Sunday 10th February | Mary's Mystery of 35 miles. Starting at 9.30 with a pick up at The Central Library, College Green at 10.00. |
| Saturday 23rd February | Patrick's trip to Bath and Marksbury meander, about 35 miles starting at 9.30. |
| Saturday 9th March | Welsh Wales revisited. 45 mile ride lead by Jim with a 9.30 start and pick up at Rexam at 10.00 |
| Wednesday 13th March | Social gathering and AGM at The Cross Keys (opposite DHSS building at bottom of Lodge Causeway) to discuss the club's past and future activities etc. Subs can be paid for the coming year, but please do not let this put you off coming! 7.45 for 8.00 p.m. start. |
| Sunday 24th March | Steve is taking us to Chew Valley Lake ( swimming is discouraged ) 40 mile ride starting at 9.30. |
| Spring holiday 2002 | Steve is organising a four day, three night trip to Badby which will take place sometime in May. He will supply more information later, so watch this space! |
| Summer holiday 2002 | Provisionally reserve the dates between 13th July and the 21st July as this will be the holiday period. Pembrokeshire is the likely location. Bed and Breakfast and/or YHA accommodation.Some may like to cycle both ways from Bristol, in which case it would be a 14 day holiday. If you can not spare the time folk could train or car assist some of the way in which it could be made shorter. Patrick is investigating and will provide info. later. Watch this space ! |
