Meeting Places                

Portcullis Public House is in Fishponds opposite Morrisons Super Market

Amcor is at the junction of Winterbourne Road and Old Gloucester Road

College Green meeting place is by The Central Library next to Council House.

Mangotsfield meeting place is at the Old Railway station on Bristol to Bath path.

All miles are approximate and likely to be shorter if weather is bad.

New riders to our Club will find that the pace is gentle and that we never leave any behind

A short ride in the morning ending up at Pat’s house for an American lunch between 12.00 and 2.00 pm  An American lunch is where each bring enough food for one and it is then shared between all. The menu this time is curry! Pat will provide rice, nan bread and chutney while the other riders can bring a dish which they have made or collect from an Indian take away not very far from Pat’s house.  We should end up with quite a variety. Food and drink (of course) can be left at Pat’s house at the start of the ride if so desired

This is a repeat of a very nice ride done earlier in the year. Riders will be pleased to know that the route is on very quiet roads in areas not usually known about.

Why Gaps in the program?

Friday 31^st July to Aug 2^nd  Long week end in a Cheddar Youth Hostel  

Five ( the famous five) are going . Cycling down to Cheddar on the Friday, a day on the levels Saturday & home on the Sunday. Not too late to join us for the trip or just one night but you will need to book with Hostel ( for more info on this contact Patrick)

Friday 21^st to Sunday 23^rd August.  Three days in London.  Fully booked

Friday 4^th Sept to 11^th Sept

 Bristol to North Wales in seven easy days and home again in three harder days!
