The Society will consider applications for grants to support Natural History and geology projects. Priority will be given to applications from amateur or student naturalists (being a BNS member or living in the Bristol area is not necessary for this).

The fund normally makes awards of up to £300 per annum to successful applicants.

Applications should state clearly why funding is being sort and include an accurate costing. All student applications must be accompanied by a letter of support from an academic staff member. If there is more than one source of funding – this should be clearly stated.

Applications are welcomed throughout the year.
