St Patrick's Music Group | Repertoire

St Patrick's Music Group play a wide variety of music suitable for many occasions. We have played at weddings, funerals and ordinations. More recently we joined with other groups in the East Bristol Deanery to provide music at Clifton Cathedral for this year's Deanery Confirmation Mass.

We provide music not only for hymns during mass but also for Eucharistic Acclamations and other liturgical music. Composers who regularly feature in our repertoire, such as David Ogden and Christopher Walker have close ties with the Clifton Diocese and we also play music by other popular writers such as Bernadette Farrell and Marty Haugen.

We are keen to keep our music fresh and like to try new music whenever possible. One way that helps us in this is our annual visit to Ammerdown for a workshop run by David Ogden for parish musicians.
