The PTFA raises about £10,000 each
year to help buy equipment and improvements for the school. The
following are some of the contributions we have made:
- Playground: Construction of a sturdy
metal fence around the perimeter to discourage trespassers.
Re-surfacing and play equipment.
- Swimming: Free swimming lessons for
all Bishop Road school children.
- Miscellaneous School Equipment:
Contribution of one-off items such as cameras, P.A. system,
listening centres and overhead projector.
- Library: Contribution of books and
equipment for the new library.
- I.T. equipment: Computers and
peripherals.
