Spectrum SG

Spectrum SG exists to enable people to develop their singing abilities, have some fun acting out amusing sketches and songs, and to stage performances to serve the local community. We perform in a mix of styles, as demonstrated on our recently recorded CD, very ably accompanied by Jan, our regular pianist. We hope you enjoy this taster of some of our favourite words and music.

Spectrum SG is a group of 12 women friends from the South Gloucestershire area who meet in order to sing and have some fun. The foundations of the group lay in preparing for a fund-raising event for a local drama group, in which people were invited to sing whatever they could to create a 12 hour 'marathon of music'. Four friends got together to sing a couple of songs - and enjoyed it so much, they are still together!
