I gained a wide range of experience and knowledge in Local Government finance,
particularly in the areas of debt recovery and credit control and each promotion resulted in
the control of ever larger teams and wider areas of responsibility, eventually reaching
management level in respect of forty staff with a wide range of diverse responsibilities. I
have experience of working both on my own initiative and as a team member and have
proven leadership skills involving managing, motivating and developing others to achieve
