26 miles on and around the Malvern Hills.

Just one route this year and separate walkers & runners starts. This helped with the organisation. It was also heartening to find that the group members had responded to concerns expressed at the group AGM regarding helping. This resulted in many hands making light work. It is to be hoped that this attitude continues.

Tony Rowley asked for a minutes silence in memory of Mac McArthur, the original organiser of the event, before sending the 151 starters to brave low cloud and rain over Worcestershire Beacon and beyond.

Those who missed signing the Mac McArthur memorial book will get a chance at the Cotswold Challenge or the group AGM. Otherwise please contact the group secretary.
